Luck of the Irish is part of the Wildflower Collection.

When I was little I had an Aunt…or was it a Great Aunt who was a Nun - Aunty Peggy (I love that name). But 5 young kids and nuns do not mix well, so Aunty Peggy suggested we kids went outside to see if we could find a four leafed clover.

We all thought it was such an exciting idea and I remember lying in the grass looking across at what seemed like miles and miles of lawn….mentally pepraing to go the distance and collect an absolute bucketful!

Knowing what I know now, I realise it was such a hard ask……clever Peggy. But….the lawn must’ve been magic as we found 10!!!! I remember her saying that we must have ‘the luck of the Irish’……funny the things we remember!

So, lucky duck, The Luck of the Irish is the last of this Wildflower Collection.

Continuing on the theme that we are all vessels of whatever we choose to hold. The Vase (us) is represented in a perfectly imperfect way, again patinaed, with time, experience and adventures. it forms the shape of a trophy as a reminder that we are all winners in this life. The four leafed clovers are in abundance and flowing over the vase, because we bring what luck we expect…….and I imagine a lot!! Lucky duck names the piece and reminds us of our good fortune.

It is a happy piece, that I wish you to feel fun, light hearted, joyful, abundant, free and adventurous with. I also hope it is a fun reminder that through all the weeds and twists and turns, there is still a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Thank you for considering Luck of the Irish and the Wildflower Collection.
