Block Print Fabric Class

A$60.00

10.30am - 12.00pm Saturday 22nd April

Makers & Shakers Market, Seaworks Maritime Precinct, Williamstown.

Come along and learn how to block print fabric with Claire Cummack of Red Lane Studio, artist and printmaker. Block printing is a fabulous way of creating one-of-a-kind fabrics and this process can be applied to a range of goodies.

In this 90 minute beginners class you will learn how to carve a simple rubber stamp of your own design, (or use one of Claire’s) and then use it to block print either a 100% Cotton Tote Bag or Tea Towel to take home! Along the way Claire will share her personal approach to design and printing and will inspire you with all the things printable including clothing examples.

Tickets are $60 per person. No prior printmaking experience is necessary and all materials will be provided for this 90 minute class. Students will take home the stamp they carve and the Tote Bag or Tea Towel they print. This class is tween and teenager friendly provided an adult is present.

Class numbers are restricted, so get in early to book your place!

(Please select either the Tote Bag or Tea Towel option at checkout).
